Avoid the rain. Check your scooter’s official IP water-, dust-, and fire resistance ratings. Avoid riding in the rain if your scooter does not have an IP rating. It’s a good idea not to ride in the rain if there’s a rating. Importantly, don’t plug your charger in without wiping it down and making sure that it is dry.

Don’t store your e-scooter in excessive temperatures. Batteries are not able to withstand extreme heat or cold. Your e-scooter should be kept indoors in a dry, cool place just like your breakfast cereal.
